UNLEARNING WITH ANDREA
Terms of Agreement
Effective October 2026
These Terms of Agreement explain the rules for using the Unlearning With Andrea website. By using this site, you agree to these terms. Browsing this website or contacting the practice does not create a therapist-client or coach-client relationship, and the content here is for general information, not individualized treatment.
Who do these Terms apply to?
These Terms apply to everyone who visits or uses this website, which is operated by Andrea Haro, LMFT, doing business as Unlearning With Andrea. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.
Does using this website create a therapy relationship?
No. The content on this website is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. A professional relationship begins only after you book a session and complete the practice’s intake and consent process.
Is this website for emergencies?
No. This website, email, and phone are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
How is relational coaching different from therapy?
Relational coaching is goal-oriented, present- and future-focused, and skill-based. Coaching is not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment, and it is not covered by the protections that apply to therapy services. Individual psychotherapy is available only to adults physically located in California at the time of each session.
What are the policies for booking, fees, and cancellations?
The practice is private-pay and does not bill insurance. Individual psychotherapy sessions are $225 for 50 minutes, and relational coaching sessions are $185 for 50 minutes. Fees may change with notice.
Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to the full session fee. Therapy clients who are uninsured or not using insurance have the right to a Good Faith Estimate, described on the Get Started page. Full policies are provided in the intake paperwork you receive after booking.
